The film stars Will Smith as Gardner and directed by Gabriele Muccino . In 1981, in San Francisco, a man , who wants to get a better life , called Chris Gardner . He is a smart salesman sells medical machines , also he is a family man . His wife named Linda and his son`s name is Christopher .He looks for an excellent job in a big company called Dean Witter in San Francisco .Because he has family problems , Linda leaves him and go to New York . He is sad but brave enough to face life`s problems .Then the company begins training period without salary .He joins the training . He works hard to get what he wants . After six month he get the job .He is happy and proud of himself .He lives a successful and happy life . Adduction from the movie "After beginning his career at Dean Witter ,Chris Gardner went on to found the investment firm Gardner Rich in 1987 .In 2006 ,Chris Gardner sold a minority stake in his brokerage firm in a multi-million dollar deal".
